How can I treat the thrush in my mouth? My dentist doesn’t see it , but I see white patches in my cheeks and I am even getting white, crusty debris in the outer corners of my mouth which is very gross! Please, help.
I am ashamed to talk to people because of all the white guck in and on my mouth.
FYI,
find a physician who’ll treat the mouth infection. The fact that long term use of antibiotics does cause thrush is a proven fact.

I got a few fillings in my teeth about an hour and a half ago and my mouth is still numb. The dentist said it should only take about half an hour…
It’s slowly going away, but it’s kind of a painful numbness. Is there anything I can do to make it leave quicker? It’s uncomfortable and I’m starving!
Just go ahead and eat. Be careful not to bite yourself and be sure that the food is not too hot. If it’s liquid, don’t drink it unless you can stick your finger in it comfortably.
It would have very little effect at all, but if you apply some heat and do "light exercise," which means wiggle your jaw all around and/or makes faces in the mirror, you might increase blood flow to the area which could help make the numbness go away a little faster.

I recently have given oral sex to my boyfriend but hes clean. This was last week or 2 weeks ago. But i have now gotten a few little blisters inside my lip, and cheeks. Also there is one on the outside of my lip. I have been under alot of stress recently and i have been sick. I have a sinus infection. What can this be?
Are you for sure he’s clean? Just because he has no signs or symptoms don’t automatically assume he is clean. Even without signs/symptoms he can still transmit herpes, which is what it sounds like what you may have. I would definitely go to the doctor and get them checked out. I have Herpes Simplex I which effects the lips. And I have NEVER gotten those blisters inside my mouth, only on the outside. Just go to the doctor and make sure =]

They kind of look like cold sores. He is always scratching them and they even bleed sometimes. I use a stainless steel bowl to feed him and his water dish is stainless steel. He is an inside dog and he isn’t around ants. He had fleas a while ago so i don’t think that it should be fleas. If you have ideas or if if you know what it is please let me know thank you.
Talk to a vet. They will know.

i’ve been getting mouth sores alot now, its a little white circle in my mouth that really hurts and stings and its hard for me to eat because it hurts so much. i brush my teeth every morning so i dont know why i always get it one after another… i use Orajel mouth sore, but all it does is numb it for like 5-10 mins. why do i keep getting these mouth sores again & again & again?! this is probably the 5th mouth sore in 3 months.
could be food allergy. keep track of what you eat. if not that, it’s probably a virus. eventually, your immune system will reduce the frequency. check with a doctor any case.

I have only been dipping for a bout a month and a half, I was planning on to quit dipping after 2 months because I am temporarily dipping so I can quit smoking. And it worked! I don’t need ciggarettes anymore. But this morning I noticed a small little blister or bump on the inside of my lip. Is this just a coincidence, or is it really possible to get some kind of mouth disease, mouth cancer, etc. after only a month and a half of dipping?
Hi Dallas,
This is one of the nastiest habits of all time! Yes, it is possible to get one of many different mouth or throat cancers from dipping tobacco. The only real way to stop smoking is to just put them down. You can do it. It probably is a coincidence but the only way to tell is to give it time to heal. If you are still concerned, see an ENT doc. Good luck with the "blister" and with stopping smoking!

The fang looking tooth on the right side of my mouth has been experiencing a lot of pain especially in the gum area when I’ve been brushing and flossing lately. This has gone on for about 2 months now. I’m going to see the dentist in a few days.. Any advice?
When you notice that your gums are bleeding accompanied by swollen gums, and having symptoms like bad breath odor, sore throat, pain in the gums, then you might be having gum infection. Well, you’re not certainly alone. Nearly 75-90 percent of the general population at one time or another are affected by gums disease which is a chronic bacterial infection. These long-term gum infections are associated to increased risk for heart attack, stroke, ulcers, diabetes, respiratory diseases, and pregnancy complications. You should not allow this to happen to you. Gum disease treatment that is non-surgical can easily prevent gum disease. The public should aware about swollen gums and gum disease and learn to take control of their own mouths.
Do not wait for gum disease to get horrible before realizing the importance of dental health care. Bear in mind that prevention is always better than cure. Gum disease can be stopped with the use of appropriate oral care products and by having regular visits to the dentist.

Two days ago I noticed a hard painless lump in the roof of my mouth about 1.5cm back from the teeth on the hard palate. It’s about 5mm in size. I also have a sore throat that just came on today.
Are they related and is there anything to worry about?
See a dentist asap
