What is the best thing to prevent it? And is it called the same when adults get it? ooo and is there a home rimidy for it?

Thrush is caused by an overgrowth of yeast, usually caused by antibiotic therapy. If the baby is breastfeeding, this can be passed to mom’s nipples. Acidophilus is great for treating yeast, but you should consult with the baby’s pediatrician about treatment and ask them what you need to do to treat yourself if you’re breastfeeding. Otherwise, you’ll pass it right back to baby.

I just started taking Metronidazole tablets yesterday and this morning my mouth began tasting milky. It’s like after you drink warm milk and the taste doesn’t leave your mouth.

Is this normal?

I noticed my chihuahuas tongue sticking out and I thought it was cute, then I noticed her front top teeth are spaced and theres a bump thats pink with little black spots on it. The bump itself if small but I assume its cause shes a chihuahua. The rest of the roof of her mouth is a little red and inflamed. Im worried its cancer or a tumor or something, any ideas on what it is?
She’s 5 years old so its not new teeth or anything like that.

I have a little white thing in my mouth that looks like a crancker sore but it’s white and it’s in the bottom of my lip. and it hurts and stings when i touch it. Just like a cranker sore. Also what can i do to get rid of it?

its could be infected, swollen, some type of sore,or its keyliod (which is fine it just healed wrong)

You know when you bite your cheek while eating and you get that blister thing? Well, they usually don’t bother me, but this one is really close to my lip and it hurts a lot, especially since I wear retainers. How do I get rid of it right away?
How long will it take to go away if I use the Orabase?

At the drug store you can get a tube of Orabase with Benzocaine. This used to be a prescription item, but not so any more. Take some on a q-tip and dab (don’t rub) it on the sore. Use it after meals and before bed time. The orabase will help heal, the benzocaine will numb it. Good luck

Yesterday after school i ate a tuna Hogie and i went to sleep when i woak up i had tiny tiny little bumps around my mouth and a little on my chin the last time this happened i was very very small and i ate beef patties and the bumps were only on my chin and it happened right after i was done eating. What could be going on?

You probably have an allergic reaction too one of the foods you ate. The tiny bumps are called Hives.

You can try to find out what kind of food makes them appear by stopping to eat one of the foods that wear in the tuna hogie or beef patties you ate. Just test them one a day and then if you get them after eating them, there is a big possibility you may be allergic to it.

You can also try to get an allergy test.

I always have mouth sores, and when they develop, they are too many and big! I am thinking that there might be a problem in my health that is why I always have mouth sores.

My 4 year old’s school has hand foot and mouth disease going around and I am still getting over strep. She just developed a little rash on her checks and she starting to get a sore throat. I was just wandering if it’s possible to get both at the same time and how bad could it be. I am just a single dad who probably worries too much any help is appreciated.

If she has started to develop a rash (particularly on the cheeks) & complains of a sore throat then she likely has hand foot and mouth. It can cause a terrible sore throat. There are usually small lesions in the mouth & on the palate also. The lesions on the palms & soles may or may not be present.

Is it POSSIBLE for her to have both at the same time? Yep. But I wouldn’t let the doc just throw an antibiotic at you. Ask for a strep screen. If its negative then just wait out the hand foot & mouth & use plenty of Motrin & Tylenol.

My sister is 29 years old. She has been complaining of feeling of heavy pressure on the chest, as if somebody was sitting on it. She also has numbing sensation in the mouth, the mouth feeling hot. Also pain in the back of the head just above the nape of the neck. She has been to the doctor several times, but all they say is that she has cought a chill. What could the real problem be?

i suggest she goes back 2 the doc and has a full check

i had a fever, the flu, diareha, dry heaves, almost 36 hours, now major problem is coated tongue, bad taste, sore mouth. It however does not hurt to drink orange juice just textured, my main concern is the coating on the tongue. is this normal.
