i was sick all week and i have blisters on the roof of my mouth?

are the blisters normal?

the pain started in my throat near my tonsils. im insured. i know i have bad tonsils. and i have been sick for 6 days. but i didnt go tot he dr because they never take them out and never prescribe antibiotics.

so i let things run their course.

i just slept nearly 36 hours straight and just woke up with blisters all over the roof of my mouth!!! is that normal? i have never had blisters all over the roof of my mouth before.
i wanted to add ive been sick with congestion, cough, some lung congestion, and swollen glands. pain started in my throat. now i have blisters only on the rood of my mouth.

i just find drs never help me and its a waste of time and money. last three colds i had i was sent away without antibiotics.

but im concerned about the blistering because i have never experienced it.

i had strep throat once took antibiotics and afterwards i got blisters and sores inside my mouth went back to the doc and found out i had thrush inside my mouth , its what babies gets sometimes then i had to take medicine for that to clear up and i think thrush hurt a helluv alot then my strep throat did. i hope this helps you.

You need to see a doctor, it sounds like you have a bad infection in your throat/tonsils.

You only get your tonsils removed when you get frequent strep throat. They will for sure prescribe you antibiotics, because it sounds like you have strep throat.

You need to see the doctor. You probably have strep throat, which can develop into thrush. You must gargle with warm salt water very, very often and change your toothbrush daily. My husband had the same thing. It was very painful and difficult to eat.

no, not really. this sounds like "hand foot mouth" disease aka coxsackie virus(sp?) it’s nasty and painful but you just have to heal. once you get it you’ll be immune from getting it again. its highly contagious and is common this time of year. my kids and i caught it this time last year. best thing to do it go to the doc. theres also a chance its strep throat which can cause sores in your mouth this could be a virus or bacterial infection. btw- a doc won’t prescribe antibiotics for a virus since they don’t help viruses. sdeek another opinion if you think you need your tonsils out. its just not common to do it anymore.
