What is the red bump on the roof of my cat’s mouth?

My 10 -year-old cat has a jelly bean shaped thing hanging on the roof of her mouth and really dirty teeth. What is this bump and how do I cure it? Should I take her to the vet?

Yes she should go to the vet. Dirty teeth can lead to heart disease, a dental is in order.

The vet will also be able to ID the growth.

    would take her to the vet becaus eit could be tumor or something dangerouis. I would check it out ow than waiting till later.

    It could be the same thing that humans have at the back of our mouth, or it could just be her brain ? gotta be open minded lol
