kissed someone and got a sore throat and bumps in mouth?

i was jw about this it happened about 3 or 4 years ago. I dated a girl and we kissed then the next day i had a sore throat and bumps on the top of my mouth, its been a long time since then so i dont know how long it lasted maybe a few days to week and i havent had any symptoms since i think, no bumps or anything so what could it have been that one time?
not big bumps or anything and it was towards the back of my mouth

She may have had herpes.
