I woke up one morning and saliva drooled out of the right corner of my mouth.It started to itch and sting so i scratched it and constantly licked it more. Soon blisters popped up at the right corner of my mouth. I thought to a day back if i went any burning or itching sensation but i remmeber the corner of my mouth was fine and wasn’t bothering me. It was only the morning and it took about 5 mins for the blisters to appear. I assume it was from drooling or some kind of contact with bacteria on my pillow because it was really dirty. it blisters small bumps and i even had a huge scab that prevented me from talking or eating confortably. Anyways did some research and found Perioral Dermatitis could have been my problem because it says that drooling can cause it.

it’s been 2 weeks and 5 days arleady the scab is finally gone and i can eat,speak,talk. and by the way i was masterbating on the day i touched the area of the infection or what ever it is and could have possibly torn up some skin on my penis. I don’t assume it’s a fever blister because that can spread to ur private area. But it has been 2 weeks and 5 days and my penis healthy and clean not even a single rash.

Any my question is does any of you get blisters around your mouth when u wake up cause you drool?

My second question is what do you guys think the blisters are?

To add more details i actually saw a picture of perioral dermaititis that was located on the right corner of my mouth and the blisters looked very similar to this

Not very graphic it just looks like small tiny pimples/blisters around the corner of the mouth.

It sounds like the mouth problem could be Angular Cheilitis. Look it up on google for symtoms. I have this at the moment and it has lasted for a month so far. I have tried all sorts to get rid of it..until i found this website today. Try this link and follow the advice from BOHEMIATOM.

I had strep last week and was put on penicillin…i started getting sores in my mouth…the dr told me they are fever blisters. I had never heard of them in your mouth.

Yes. Try gargling with a salt water solution. I believe the ratio is 1 teaspoon to 4-6 oz water. If I am wrong… someone will correct me. Don’t swallow. Spit.

I have a really bad and PAINFUL blister inside my mouth and I need a way to get rid of it. I tried tea bags,baking soda, salty water, and numing medicine.I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could find me a NOT PAINFUL idea. By the way, I am kid so this really hurts. How long will it take to go away if I use the Orabase?

At the drug store you can get a tube of Orabase with Benzocaine. This used to be a prescription item, but not so any more. Take some on a q-tip and dab (don’t rub) it on the sore. Use it after meals and before bed time. The orabase will help heal, the benzocaine will numb it. Good luck

A good friend of mine gets blisters in her mouth the size of a finger nail and in her throat they get around an inch long. She has been tested for herpes and lupus and the tests were negative. She has also been to see two different doctors and no one seems to know what it is.
