At my 19 month old’s daycare there were several confirmed cases of hand foot and mouth. Now she has blisters all around the outside of her mouth. She was running a fever but not anymore. There are no blisters on her hand and feet? Is it common to only have them around her mouth or could this be something else? Thanks for your help!

Well my daughter recently had it, she had little water pimples on her lower legs and hands, the 2 severe blisters on her tongue so she couldn’t eat. What your daughter has could be the start if it, everyone reacts differently but your best option is to take her to the doctor although there is no treatment for hand, foot and mouth, at least you can find out what is causing her blisters.

My nephew has a rash all over his cheeks and now it is spreading to his back and shoulders. The doctor my sister took him to yesterday first said heat rash and then after arguing with my sister about it for 10 minutes took a look in his mouth claimed there was a was in it and then declared he had Hand foot and mouth disease. BUT none of the online picks look like my nephews rash and he dosent have any of the symptoms. No fever, no fatigue, no loss of apitite, not blisters on his hands or feet, he’s running around like a tornado giggling and having fun. I was wondering if any other disease mimics Hand foot and mouth or heat rash. Could it be an allergic reaction?
They definately dont look like chicken pox. He isnt itching them either. He’s 1. He came home from his dad’s two days ago with this rash on his checks after his dad’s birthday party for him.

Here’s a list of things that might be confused with hand, foot, and mouth disease:
chicken pox, herpangina, Kawasaki disease, Stevens Johnson syndrome, Herpes zoster Infection, or oral herpesvirus Infection. Chicken pox seems most likely at this point.

not catch it?
Please any personal info would be great. I thank you in advance.
Its going around in kinder class.

Coxsackie viruses belong to a family of viruses called enteroviruses. These viruses live in the gastrointestinal tract and are, therefore, present in feces. They can be spread easily from one person to another when poor hygiene allows the virus within the feces to be passed from person to person. After exposure to the virus, development of symptoms takes only four to six days. Hand-foot-mouth disease can occur year-round, although the largest number of cases are in summer and fall months.
Within about four to six days of acquiring the virus, an infected child may develop a relatively low-grade fever, ranging from 99 to 102°F (37.2–38.9°C). Other symptoms include fatigue, loss of energy, decreased appetite, and a sore sensation in the mouth that may interfere with feeding. After one to two days, fluid-filled bumps (vesicles) appear on the inside of the mouth, along the surface of the tongue, on the roof of the mouth, and on the insides of the cheeks. These are tiny blisters, about 3–7 mm in diameter. Eventually, they may appear on the palms of the hands and on the soles of the feet.
>>>>>>>>The prognosis for a child with hand-foot-mouth disease is excellent. The child is usually completely recovered within about a week of the start of the illness. It is usually only severe for children. As an adult you may not catch it at all and it may carry more the appearance of a virus.

Hope this helps, good luck.

smokeless tobacco is worse than ciggarettes. Tobacoo is absorbed through the gums in the mouth and goes directly to your heart, spreading it out through your body via the blood stream. Its more highly to get oral cancer and stomach cancer.

I don’t really have any blisters on my hands and feet but I have a mouth full of blisters I have had them for about 3 days counting today and they really hurt is it hand foot and mouth disease or is it something elese? Anyways how long will the blisters last and please reply to both questions

If it is only in the mouth it could be many things from a first exposure to the herpes simplex virus to lichen planus. If they are not healing, see the dermatologist. Don’t assume it is hand foot and mouth unless you have all the signs. Hand foot and mouth lasts a week or so like so many other viral rashes.

Thanks for asking, they are indeed hybrids.

Hoof and mouth disease is very contagious among donkeys and therefore I do believe it is necessary to vaccinate your children against this deadly disease.

P.S. CBOLAR, are your children pure donkeys or donkey – human hybrids?
