My mouth is in excruciating pain, im losing sleep over the pain. Its coming mostly from my pallet but the pain randomly spreads to my throat or sides of my mouth. I went to the doctors and its not strep and all they could tell me is that its viral.. I am a diabetic if that gives a hint to what this could be.. any suggestions to rid this pain or " virus " would be great..

If I were you, I would contact your dentist.
Sometimes one tooth can cause pain all around.
Perhaps one of the 4 teeth with the cavity was fairly deep near the nerve and as he was putting the filling in it was probably touching the nerve. So I would go to your dentist and maybe they could take an x-ray and if that is the problem, then they will probably do a root canal.

It could be from hyperventilating due to your anxiety which can cause chest pain..

It seems unlikely, but is it possible that the root canal procedure on the opposite side of her mouth could be the cause of that pain?

It is impossible. Sounds like she has a separate issue on the other side. Check with a dentist.

Do you tend to get food trapped there? Your gums sound very inflamed. Assuming your teeth arent broken off or chipped and your not having other symptoms like heat/cold sensitivity or pressure sensitivity, then its probably not tooth related. Basically it has to heal on it’s own. Brush very very gently and don’t floss it until your noticing improvement. You can go to the dentist but at most they’ll give you a "special" mouthwash and tell you what I just did.

YES!!! Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory medication. It will not only help the pain, but the swelling too. Take it with milk or food (if you can eat anything) to prevent stomach upset. If the pain still does not go away call the dentist. Wisdom teeth have very large roots and leave behind a big socket. You could be developing dry socket and that needs to be treated immediately. Try flushing the sockets with warm salt water, it may help also. If the ibuprofen doesn’t help the pain call the dentist. he may be able to give you something stronger. I hope you feel better soon. I had my wisdom teeth removed about 5 years ago…I remember the pain

This will hurt REALLY BAD but trust me, it works! My mum told me to do it and I was like HELL NO! But I did and my ulcer went away the next day.

Before you go to sleep, after brushing your teeth, put salt on the ulcer and rub it with your finger! OUCHH. But it’ll scrub the white stuff away and when you wake up in the morning it’ll be gone. Well, mine was gone…
