I was just recently eating some of those skittles with the different flavored cores in them, and by the time I was done, my mouth felt awful :S

Just curious as to why this is happening, and if you know any remedies to this, that would be greatly appreciated as well ^ ^

acids and ingredients in the candy make your mouth react differently. nut mostly when there is some kind of acid or citrus

It sounds like a canker sore. A lot of people are getting them right now.

Don’t rinse with salt water. Get some salt and put it directly on the sore,
enough to completely cover it. Hold it there for about 30-60 secs. It’ll sting
a little, but for some reason it kills the bacteria and it will start healing a
loooot faster.

If your scared to do that you can also get these tables/patches from
the pharmacy and they stick to the sore and heal it and they help a lot
with the pain while you eat and all that. You’ll have to look them up
though, Google "canker sore tablets" or "mouth sore patches"

Anyway it has now inflated half of my bottom lip to double it’s original size. HELP please. It is rather icky.

People who have canker sore outbreaks have an amino acid deficiency. Stress and pressure to the mouth (including braces and dental work) can cause outbreaks.

Apply ambesol or other canker sore gels/ointments to temporarily numb the pain (like before a meal).

You can take lysine supplements (over the counter) to make up for the deficiency and prevent future outbreaks. Canker sores run in my family and they are such a pain! Lysine will heal you in just a few days! We take the pills daily now and rarely get canker sores any more! Even when we do, they’re smaller, less painful, and heal quickly :) Hope that helps!

Take 2 ibuprofens. That helped for me.
Are they coming in right? It sounds more painful then it should be. It isn’t so supposed to be that painful it’s the removal aftermath that is. It is uncommon for them to grow in right. Mine are growing right now in a way called impaction. Quite painful. Getting them removed. And you know even if they don’t need to it’s better for you. My bottom ones (i have 4) are growing in perfectly but I’m getting them out anyways. Plus I kinda want to keep the teeth LOL

Dental Keli- Ibuprofen is a painkiller so that is all he/she needs

hmm. the only thing i would think of is a Ulcer (like canker sore). Usually you do not have pores on the bottom of your tongue and usually those are little glands that are producing saliva. Sorry that is all i can think of

The roof of my mouth IS sore. It feels like the bones that make up my hard palate are sore. It’s pretty much in one line across my palate, and it hurts. you may have eaten something hard that hurt the top of your mouth while chewing. if it does not go away within a week i would see a local doctor or dentist so you can find out why it is still hurting.

Each corner of my mouth has a sore on it where the fold is and there are bumps leading off of it a quarter up the both sides of my lips.

I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, but I am not sure what to put on it until then.
I have also been putting some Antibiotic ointment on them. It seems to help the pain at first but after like 15 minutes I have to rub the excess on my lip around due to it wearing off.

I think you have a fungal infection called angular cheilitis. It is also known as perleche and cheilosis.

Its main symptoms are the cracking and the splitting of the sides of the lips.

This problem may cause you a big problem in eating or speaking because whenever you open the mouth you will feel a pain in the sores you have in the sides of the mouth.

But don’t worry, the problem is not dangerous and it can be treated with some creams and with some natural remedies.

In most cases, the problems goes away without being treated.
