Judging by what you have said, I wouldn’t say that you would have the disease. You don’t need to brush that hard haha. Only a slight bit of pressure is required when brushing.
But if you are concerned, the best thing to do is go to the dentist to get your mouth checked out. I would recommend getting in there as quick as you can so that if you do have gum disease, You can stop it early.

I have that same problem, but I asked my orthodontist about it and he said that in my case it is a reaction to my braces and it will go away after I get them off…it could be different in you case so you might want to ask your orthodontist about that.
