What can I give my cat for serious mouth pain?

His tooth is about to fall out from a cat fight. I dont have money to take him to a vet, what can i give him that help? I can get some pet meds from a friend. But what do i use?

I don’t mean to sound harsh, but, if your cat has been in a fight, then I can assume he is not neutered?? This is what "Tom" cats do. There is not much you can give a cat for pain (over-the-counter). Your cat needs to see a vet, to have the tooth, surgically removed. And, while you’re at it, GET YOUR CAT NEUTERED!

If you cannot afford to properly care for your cat, or any other pet, you should not own one. No one likes Vet bills, but it’s part of the equation when you decide to take on the responsibility of adopting a pet. To not provide your pet proper care is a disservice to the animal, and is inhumane, especially when situations like yours arise.

I don’t mean to sound judgmental, and my answer obviously won’t do anything to help your situation, but it’s something to keep in mind down the road, should you consider taking on another pet.
