Two more appointments left, so about 12 weeks. If I wear my bands like I’m supposed to. The toothpaste, mouthwash and breath spay I mention in my video is called Closys. You can buy it at Walgreens in the store or online at walgreens.com. They also have it at drugstore.com but it costs a few dollars more right now on there site. Let me know if you find it anywhere else! Definitely worth a try if you are a canker sore victim like me!

About CloSYS toothpaste & rinse-paste doesn’t foam because it doesn’t have SLS in it which causes canker sores:)
The rinse is alcholo-free and will help people with braces whiten their teeth. My son uses it. Works great but you should gargle/swoosh in mouth for 2 mins. He does it in the shower. You can register for coupons online or by Texting closys to 333777 then print when you want. Use at Walgreens.

I’m really thinking about leaving mine alone instead of getting veneers. If they look horrible when the braces come off then I will. We’ll see. Add the $400 whitening trays to the over $4000 braces treatment, why not? LOL Crest whitestrips sounded so much better (cheaper) though.

I got mine on …
I got mine on around the same time as you, getting mine off March 22. I also have the same problem with the small lateral incisors. I was told that you can do bonding instead of a full on vaneer. Might be cheaper, not sure about pricing. I’m probably just gonna leave mine alone though. Re: Whiteing: I’m gonna do the trays. I’m told they give the best/longest lasting result. What’s another $400 after you paid thousands?

All people I know who have had the removable retainers ended up needing braces about 15 years later…whereas my friends with permanent ones didn’t. Sup to you I guess if you want to go through again in 15 years from now…
