why are you supposed to drink orange juice when you have a mouth sore?

Every time I dring oj its seems like I get one of those mouth sores that hurt really bad. Everyone tells me to drink it when I do have one? Why? Wats in it that helps?

the acid is supposed to kill the infection, but i don’t understand why you get one when drinking oj, there has to be something else that causes it.

Never heard of that… If you get a mouth sore everytime from drinking OJ… then logically you shouldn’t drink that much OJ. It doesn’t make sense to drink more.
