What else could cause someone’s mouth to burn like when you eat a piece of toast and you scrape it on your mouth but it’s painful on the tongue, cheeks, and roof of the mouth and burns with carbonated beverages like sodas? Does it take a while for them to cottage cheesy like or sometimes they aren’t?
I dont know what you mean when you say does it take a while to get cottage cheesy… do you have any other mouth sores that are like this? If so see a doctor, I have experienced similar symptoms as to what you describe but they usually go away in 2 – 4 days and i believe is caused by some form of topical bacterial infection of the mouth, I could be wrong.. other times I have had this happen is when I ate food that was too hot and it burned my mouth, in either case update with how long u have had this and I may suggest calling your physician.
Have you ever heard of oral thrush or mouth lesions that are not cottage-cheese like in appearance? What else?

Please see a Doctor. You may have a reaction from a medication, or side affect. It usually goes away, but check with a Doctor. Also this cottage cheese stuff sounds weird.

A med I took gave me a burning mouth, and the affects went away, as I was warned of it. It was an anti depressant.
