i have tonsilitis and ive noticed some red patches and white patches on my tongue.. i think this could be thrush will my antibiotics for my tonsilitis get rid of the thrush too?
If you do have thrush, this is a fungal infection and need to be treated. The antibiotics you are taking for a possible bacterial infection will not cure a fungal infection. Instead you need an antifungal that will treat thrush. I have never heard of the "nil state liquid" the person mentioned above, but may that is in another country outside of the U.S. The typical treatment in the U.S. is either Diflucan or Nystatin. I hope you feel better.

The antibiotics will help but you also need to get some Nil state liquid and follow the instructions. The thrush will soon disappear if you do this.
