What causes a buildup of thin sticky white skin stuff in my mouth at night?

I often find that once I’ve been laying in bed reading for a while at night, I get this sticky white buildup between the inside of my mouth and the gums… especially in the nook and cranny parts. And I also get this when I wake up in the mornings. Its almost as if the inside of my mouth is shedding its ‘skin’ every night.
Would anyone know what this stuff is and what causes it??

gross! it’s probably left over residue from the baking soda from your toothpaste. trying rinsing a few more times than usual

You don’t have to worry…lots and lots of people get this. I think it is just saliva and bits of skin cells.

It’s a bacteria flush. Pretty common. Try brushing, flossing and mouthwash before bed. It should help.
