Why does my mouth have white spots inside?

I have had a sore and irritated throat for about 4-5 days, and today I looked inside my mouth and found a huge bit of white gunk near or on my tonsils [I am not sure which are my tonsils but if I pull back a bit of flesh in my mouth I can see the white stuff. I’m hoping it’s nothing too serious as I have exams coming up. My mum thinks it’s a ulcer, but I’m not too sure…what would you say is wrong with me?

Thanks :D

You need to see your MD. You could possibly have Strep throat and will need an antibiotic. Don’t play around. See a MD ASAP.

you definitely have a canker sore..they go away within a week or two, but if it lasts longer than 2 weeks you need to see your doctor…they’re usually caused by bacteria, but more commonly from stress and they can be anywhere inside of your mouth, i’ve had canker sores non stop for a year, i’m expert at them =]
